Well, young [First name], can you believe it is that exciting time of year again already? It does not seem like five minutes since I last visited your lovely home in [HomeTown]. I think I still have a little bump on my head because I accidentally entered your house headfirst; I was so eager to get in and leave your presents. Silly [Santa Claus]!
The North Pole is a magical place right now: the sparkly white snow is glittering down gently and all the elves are gossiping about who’s been naughty and who’s been nice; don’t worry, [Relative Name] have great things to say about you and I am pleased to say you are on the Nice List.
Now, I have been tipped a wink that you have been an especially good [Boy/Girl] this year. As well as being good, I hear you have been playing nicely with [Friends Name] too and that you have done well with [Achievement]. Believe me, not all children of [Age Range] old are as kind and respectful as you are. Mrs Claus and I love those qualities - keep that up next year! Bravo from all at the North Pole! So, dear child, I need to go and get myself ready now to set off in good time. It is time to pull on my warm boots, find my spectacles and slip on my trusty red jacket. Oh dear, I hope I can still fasten it after all the mince pies I have been eating… Remember, you need to be sleeping soundly when I arrive. Hang up that stocking and go to bed early. If you want to leave me some cookies and milk, I would not say no. Squeeze those eyes tight shut. Before you know it, you will hear the tinkling of sleigh bells in your deep, sweet dreams. When you wake up on Christmas morning, I will have been and gone … hopefully without bumping my head this time!
